Coffee Time with Dr. John Holland

I just had an opportunity to have some coffee with Dr. John Holland (Foursquare Church). Although he is not an expert in the Middle East, he did have some great insight for anyone seeking to do missionary work in the Middle East, or any country outside of your native home.

Here is his advise:

1. Study the culture
2. Learn their history
3. Become acquainted with their food & clothing
4. Most importantly learn the language
   1. This is one of the most important things you can do as it will show them that you care enough about them to learn their language.
